Blocks land where you hold them
Blocks used to slide into place when you let go, which made every tower look like it had been built by the same tidy person. That help is switched off now, in every mode.
A block lands where you were holding it, at the angle you were holding it. A row of four can be four different amounts of nearly straight, and the tower keeps all four. Stacking neatly is the game, not a service the game performs for you.
Towers do not fall more often than before. They fall for reasons you can point at, which is worse.
